Period home sells at auction

The beautifully-renovated home at 139 Hovell St, Echuca, sold at auction last Saturday amid a flurry of bidders.

The family home has been tastefully-renovated while still retaining its original charm and is set on 1044sqm.

Charles L King and Co First National real estate agent Martin Harrison said interest in the home was outstanding.

``We had some six bidders competing for the property at the auction,'' he said.

The property was eventually sold to a Melbourne couple who intend to make Echuca their new home.
